Hi and thanks for visiting! I'm a budget-minded do-it-yourselfer who thinks that with a little blood, sweat and (sometimes) tears a stylish home can be achieved without breaking the bank. Most days, you can usually find me covered in paint - somehow I still haven't figured out that wearing designated "painting clothes" saves my wardrobe from those wayward drips or the ever frustrating brush-against.

I make my design decisions based on what works for our family rather than sticking to someone else's rules so sometimes I buck trends - like in the case of my high-water drapes - but other times I go with the flow - like when I painted large horizontal stripes and a chalkboard wall in my son's room. Which, to me, is what home design is really all about - being flexible and making things work for you. It is YOUR house, after all.

Revamp Homegoods is my creative outlet where you can follow me and my family through our trials of remodeling and decorating our small home, see my trash to treasure creations and hang out while I get my craft on.
